Promote the Performance of IE
CE Browser™, together with CE Sandbox™, still use the core of IE. As a result, its performance is still limited to IE. Please follow the instructions to promote the performance of IE. Later, you can find that the browse is much faster and stable. Smooth scrolling is useless. It just slightly smooths the Web page when you are using a mouse to control the scroll bar. It requires many resources of CPU. You should disable it. Do not “Smart image dithering”. Image dithering can make the edges of images a little bit smooth, and reduce a little sawtooth. It is useless. The terrible thing is that it requires most resources of CPU and memory. You can find that your computer reaches 100% and has little memory frequently, if you do not disable it. Computing images exhausts a computer. Your computer may die, if a Web page have many images inside and you enable this function. Do not “Enable page transitions”. Page transition can make the old Web page disappear gradually. Besides, the new Web page will appear gradually. The effect is quite like many old TV sets. It is a stupid function. Microsoft stupidly adds this visual style inside. It greatly slows down the speed of opening a Web page. Vitally, it makes your whole computer unstable when you are opening Web pages. Do not “Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode”. Secure mode means Secure Sockets Layer encryption. You can see that http becomes https, when you sign in an banking Websites or pay online. It is quite normal. You do not have to be sensitive to it at all. If you enable it, you have to see the message frequently and have to click “Continue” button inside frequently. Do not “Automatically check for Internet Explorer updates”. You can directly go the Microsoft Download Center to download the security updates or service package. Otherwise, it will frequently check the updates and occupy your bandwidth.
