Compressing RTF
Sometimes, the file size of a .rtf file may be quite large, because it does not compress any data. Simply, you can use Peazip to compress the files before sending to your clients or colleagues. You can download Peazip at: http://peazip.sourceforge.net/ Click [Options] tab. Then, select [ZIP] menu, and select [Ultra] level. Finally, click “Create .zip” button. It will compress the file immediately. Finally, you can create the .zip file. You can see that the file size is reduced greatly. This is not the advertisement of Peazip. It just tells you how to compress .rtf files. The file sizes can be smaller, if the .rtf files do not contain images inside. Images can hardly be compressed.
